RollOvers and Transparent Gifs

Button Rollovers in ImageReady

A Rollover is an effect that appears to change a button when the mouse passes over it. It could change colour, have a different bevel or drop shadow. This helps identify the graphical element as a clickable button.

  1. Create additional layers for each button in Photoshop as Rollover states
  2. In ImageReady, select the first button slice ( See Lesson for slicing)
  3. Click the rollover tab in the animation/slice/rollover palette group window. The current image is displayed as "normal" state.
