DIGITAL VIDEO PRODUCTION - CAPTURING IN PREMIERE 6.0 TUTORIAL

• Shut down all open Software, Open Premiere and select DV-PAL , standard 48 Khz codec
  
  
  
  
• Select Edit , Preferences, Scratch Disks and Device control
  
  
  
  
• In Captured Movies, click "select folder" to hold the captured files.
  (Mackintosh Hard Drive / Students/ MyVids/).
  
  
  
  
• and select the folder.
  
  
  
  Do the same for Video previews and Audio Previews.
  
  
• For Device Control , Options , select the DV format , Make, and Model Number of video camera. Make sure the Device is "Online".
  
  
  
  
• Click on the Project Folder and click FILE , SAVE AS to save your project file ( myproject.ppj).
  
  
  
  

Batch Capture

• Close all windows except the project window.
  
  
  
  
• Select FILE , CAPTURE , BATCH CAPTURE.
  
  
  
  
• Select FILE , CAPTURE, MOVIE CAPTURE.
