Making a VCD in ULead VideoStudio 4

1. In Start , select "New Project".
   
2. Type in your project name and select "MPEG-1 352 X 288 PAL(25f/s)" (or NTSC if in USA) in the drop-down listbox.
   
3. Edit/make you movie. Drag your footage to timeline, add transitions , music , narration etc etc.

Output your Video

1. In "Finish" , select "Output Options" - "Web Page".
   
2. Save Project
3. Click "Make Movie"
   
4. A "Save As" box will appear. Check that the "Save As Type" is MPEG. Click "Options".
   
5. In the "Save As Options" dialog box click on the "Compression" tab.
   • Select
   • Media Type : MPEG-1
   • Video Date Rate : 1150 kbps
   • Audio Settings - Type: Stereo
   • Audio Bit Rate : 224 kbps
   • Audio Frequency : 44100 Hz
   
6. click "ok"
7. Give the file a name and click "Save". It will render the file to the MPEG-1 format. Remember what you called it and where you saved it.
